Day 01

Arrive in Ireland at Dublin or Belfast Airport and travel to 4* Rosapenna Resort for 3 nights

Rosapenna Hotel is a 4 star property located in Downings county Donegal, set in 800 acres of peaceful grounds and boasts two 18-hole championship golf courses. The hotel accommodation offers a range of room types from classic bedrooms, deluxe rooms, junior suites and bayview suites with balconies overlooking the bay.  Room amenities include TV with Sky Sports channels, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, iron and board, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and luxury toiletries.  Guests can dine in the main restaurant which offers a range of dishes specialising in fresh fish caught locally. The Old Tom Morris Bar hosts a large range of liquors, spirits and beers with a fine range of classical malts and brandy’s.  The hotel also offers an indoor swimming pool, a sauna and a steam room.

Day 02

Golf at Rosapenna Old Course.

Rosapenna Golf Club founded in 1893 is situated 25 miles north of Letterkenny Town in northern Donegal and 23 miles northwest of Letterkenny. It consists of 2 courses, the Rosapenna Old and Sandy Hills. The legendary Old Tom Morris laid out the original links that bears his name in 1891. In the following decades, both Harry Varden and James Braid provided amendments, to make the golf course the outstanding challenge that it is today.
Rosapenna Old Course takes advantage of natural terrain to provide a classic links golf challenge, These links holes run between the ocean and the dunes in what is known locally as “The Valley”.

Golf at Donegal Golf Club.

Donegal Golf Club, founded in 1973, is located on the Murvagh peninsula in Donegal Bay 3 miles south of Donegal Town and is known by many as Murvagh. The course was originally designed by Eddie Hackett, a legend of Irish golf architecture, and is often called the “Muirfield of Ireland”. It is one of the longest golf courses in Europe, measuring a massive 7,453 yards from the championship tees. The panoramic views of Donegal Bay and the surrounding countryside are sensational and the peninsula itself is steeped in local and ancient history. Come and enjoy a truly memorable golfing experience on one of Darren Clarke’s “favourite courses in the world.”
After golf travel to 4* Glass House Hotel in Sligo where you stay for the next 4 nights

The Glasshouse Hotel offers luxury guest accommodation in the vibrant City of Sligo, ideally located within metres of Sligo’s main street, O’ Connell Street. The hotel features a lively ground-floor bar, mediterranean style restaurant with fantastic views of the river, café bar and underground car-parking. The Glasshouse Hotel boasts 116 modern, spacious bedrooms featuring colourful interiors and exotic wood furnishings. Day 05

Golf at Enniscrone Golf Club.

Enniscrone Golf Club is in the northwest of County Sligo overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, 6 miles north of Ballina. Known for having some of the largest dunes in Ireland, the club is situated on a promontory that juts into Killala Bay. From the opening approach it provides a challenge of the highest quality with some supremely memorable golf holes. In true links fashion, the course layout is “nine out” and “nine back” to the clubhouse. Each golf hole follows the natural contours of the land. The last four finishing holes are exhilarating and border the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 06

Golf at Carne Golf Links

Carne Golf Links in North Mayo on the West Coast of Ireland lies in magnificent unspoiled sand dunes overlooking the wild Atlantic Ocean near the town of Belmullet. Carne Golf Links is the last links course to be designed by the late Eddie Hackett and it is now believed by many who have played it to be his greatest challenge. The course was “created” with minimal environmental impact with the first nine opening in 1992. Play began on the second nine in 1993. Carne Golf Links has gone on to become one of the premium links courses in Ireland.

Day 07

Golf at Co. Sligo Golf Club

County Sligo Golf Club, founded in 1894, is situated at Rosses Point, a seaside village eight kilometres northwest of Sligo town. The traditional links layout, designed by Harry Colt, utilizes the the natural contours of the dune covered landscape. The club is the home of the famous West of Ireland Open amateur championship played every Easter since 1923 and has hosted many other prestigious events including the Home Internationals, the Irish Close and the Irish Professional Matchplay Championship.

Day 08 | Departure 

Travel to airport for flight home.
